As most countries in the world are striving to achieve the SDG 2030 goals, Malaysia is also committed to do so. With rapidly and constantly changing world, all sectors are affected including our environment. Therefore, several measures on protecting the environment are required to ensure the goals are achievable.
Institute of Foresters Malaysia and Faculty of Forestry, University Putra Malaysia, recently organised a colloquium to discuss matters within the Malaysia forestry radar. MIGHT through En. Rushdi Abdul Rahim, had the opportunity to talk on Forestry in the context of Fourth Industrial Revolution(4IR). Insights on how this revolution could play a role in the forest industry and exploring how 4IR innovations could help drive a systems transformation across the environment and natural resource security agenda.
