Being rocked by uncertainty posed by the pandemic therefore throws a spotlight on Asia’s public policy. To create more discussions on the matter, in August, MIGHT sat on LKY School of Public Policy’s panel for its Futures Forward webinar series. The series is a platform for futures practitioners and policymakers to exchange ideas and insights on how futures is practiced in Asia across different policy contexts. In episode 4 of Futures Forward: How to Institutionalise Futures in Public Service, MIGHT’s representative shared what apprehensiveness for change might cost if Asian countries adopt a reactive posture. The webinar took place on the 25th of August as it explored institutionalising Asia’s public service’s futures thinking transformation.
