Apart from engaging the youth, myForesight® Outreach program also includes mainstreaming Foresight to other public and private organisations.
We had the opportunity to share with the Public Services Department on “‘The Futures Thinking and Human Resources Planning” last 24 October in conjunction with their Human Resources Development and Planning Workshop.
The two hours session acknowledged the Civil servants insights and inputs pertaining to future issues. They were impelled on the importance of incorporating futures planning and thinking in their work. As the main force to the nation’s development, thinking ahead is the key in driving and implementing government’s actions and initiatives. It is not merely about WHAT to think about but HOW to foresee what matters most in future. Public service departments need to further improve their performance in the future for the welfare of the nation.
