For the last 20 years, MIGHT has tirelessly advocate the advancement of technology as a tool for nation building by using the smart partnerships practises. The tagline WE MAKE IT HAPPEN! has become our motivational mantra, inspiring the whole team in carrying out mandates and endeavours to build the nation high technology competency and capacity.
MIGHT was launched by YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, the then Prime Minister of Malaysia on 22 February 1993. Since it’s established, MIGHT has been under the patronage of three Prime Ministers. With two Joint Chairs which represent the Government and Industry. The Joint Chairs of Government has always been the Science Advisor to the Prime Minister, while the Joint Chairs from the Industry would be personnel with private sectors experience and insights.
Being a not for profit organisation,MIGHT’s aims is to serve the nation in advancing competency in high technology through partnerships towards sustainable development. MIGHT hopes to continuously working in synergy with all stakeholders from both the private and public sectors, striving to drive the nation to greater heights.
