Special interview with Tan Sri Azman Shah
One of the important elements towards achieving the Vision 2020 aspiration is through national transformation agenda. It is with this in mind, MIGHT through myForesight® in collaboration with The Public Service Department of Malaysia (JPA) embarked on the initiatives to develop a strategic outlook and policy direction of The Future of Malaysia Public Service (FMPS).
To further enhance the value of the initiative, we also seek views and opinions from the non-state stakeholders on FMPS. We had the honor of meeting with Tan Sri Dato’ Azman Shah Dato’ Seri Haron, the President of Malaysian Employers Federation, who seats in various government committee such as PEMUDAH and National Productivity Corporation. During the interview Tan Sri deliberated issues of today and the future such as the country human capital needs, governance, country competitiveness and future leadership. He also highlighted on the importance of the government machinery to be seen as facilitator and regulator which will allow for more rooms for the private sector to be the driver of the economy.
