As part of the Outreach Programme, myForesight® was invited to share a session with students of Multimedia and Network Department, Faculty of IT of UNITAR International University.
The session was held in Petaling Jaya Campus on 23rd October 2012. Mr Rushdi Abdul Rahim of myForesight® delivered his presentation on ‘Computing in Tomorrow’s World’ to about 50 university’s students and staffs.
The session aimed to educate students and provide new insight regarding computing in future from Foresight perspective. The one-hour session also welcomed different feedbacks from the audience regarding how the future would be, issues and challenges ahead and ideas on how they can play more impactful role as students of today and leaders of tomorrow.
Though the session was short, it is expected that it can create awareness among the youngsters about Foresight and in anticipating and responding to the plausible futures. It is not merely about knowledge but how it can impact others. As in Foresight, tools and methodologies will prepare the young minds on how to lead and further develop the futures.
